Head of Graphic Design
Charlotte is responsible for the visual communication of Publica’s identity and projects. Since joining the team in 2010 she has worked across a wide range of project and communication outputs, overseeing the strategic visual direction of all Publica’s work across both print and digital platforms. Charlotte has led the visual direction of many Publica’s projects, recently working on a publication to be co-published with Store X that examines the importance of the creative industries to London, entitled Place, Spaces, Work: The Creative Industries in London; drawings from which were exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Show 2018 and the 2017 Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism and has also led on the visual identity of A Future for the Oxford Street District and accompanying evidence base Oxford Street Today; and on the editorial design of a family of documents produced for the Northbank BID. More recently Charlotte has lead on the design and development of Publica’s new website.
Charlotte trained as a graphic designer and typographer at the London College of Communication, graduating with first-class honours in 2007. She has previously worked with wide-ranging creative organisations and practitioners including the Whitechapel Gallery, The Manchester Museum, the Architectural Association Visiting School, the National Autistic Society and Black Dog Publishing.
