Ming joined Publica in 2021 and is part of the team delivering the Oxford Street District Framework. Prior to working at Publica, she was Studio Project Leader and Project Architect at Scott Whitby Studio, where she led on a range projects, from public realm and urban design to much of the practice’s community led and heritage buildings.
She was part of the team to win the Unlimited Doha Design prize in 2016, with a project that developed strategies for creating open-ended street furniture and layouts, which could allow for play in the public realm, while also helping to create safer streets for both women and children.
Ming has also been education facilitator for clients such as RIBA, V&A and Barbican. Ming trained in architecture at the University of Edinburgh, where she was awarded the George Simpson Award. She then completed her master’s degree at London’s Royal College of Art.
