Tom is a graphic designer and leads on the visual communication of Publica’s projects. Working with urban designers and researchers, Tom produces creative and engaging editorial design for reports and publications, including infographics and other media, to communicate projects in a compelling and accessible way.
Tom’s projects include includes developing and implementing a new brand identity for the UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP), creating an animation to illustrate the changing conditions in Piccadilly Circus from dawn to dusk for the Heart of London BID (HoLBA), editorial and infographic design for Securing the Future of London’s Theatres for SOLT, and led on the design and development of Publica’s website, which was nominated for an Archiboo award for design in 2018.
Tom completed his BA in Graphic Design at the University of the West of England, graduating with first-class honours in 2016. Tom was awarded a Wood Pencil at the D&AD New Blood Awards and membership to the International Society of Typographic Designers during his final year of study. Since graduating, Tom has worked at Bunch Design, Zagreb and Barnbrook, London; joining Publica in 2017.
