Place, Spaces, Work: Discussing the future of the creative industries
On 22 February 2018, Publica is holding an event with Justine Simons OBE, Deputy Mayor for Culture and the Creative Industries, for 100 guests from the public, private and creative industries sectors. The event will convene leading experts to discuss critical issues facing the future of the creative industries in London.
The event marks the release of Place, Spaces, Work: The Creative Industries in London, a new publication published by Store X Publica. A panel discussion will be held alongside an exhibition of the maps and drawings from the publication that highlight the conditions that have allowed the creative industries to thrive at the centre and elsewhere in the city.
Deputy Mayor Justine Simons will give the keynote speech. Publica’s Director, Lucy Musgrave, will present opening and closing remarks. The event will be chaired by Alex Arestis, Urban Design Director at Publica.
Panellists will include: Eliza Easton, Principal Policy Researcher, Creative Economy and Data Analytics, Nesta Juliette Morgan, Head of Campus, British Land Isabel Farchy, Founding Director, Creative Mentor Network
The exhibition is open to the public from 23 February 2018 to 2 March 2018.
