Charlotte Lord has led the graphic design team at Publica since 2010 and oversees the visual direction of Publica’s work. Charlotte has developed Identity & Communications as a service area, carrying out bespoke commissions for high-profile clients including the UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose and Selfridges Group.
One of Charlotte’s key projects is Place, Spaces, Work: The Creative Industries in London, a publication co-published with Store X, drawings from which were exhibited at the 2017 Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism 2017 and the Royal Academy Summer Show 2018. Her work also includes signage design for Bond Street, Marylebone Lane and Hanover Square.
Charlotte trained as a graphic designer and typographer at the London College of Communication, graduating with first-class honours in 2007. Prior to joining Publica, Charlotte worked on identity, editorial and exhibition design for clients including the Whitechapel Gallery, the Manchester Museum and the Architectural Association Visiting School. She was recently awarded an RSA fellowship in recognition of her work at Publica.
