Projects Director
Clay is a Projects Director at Publica, where he leads public realm designs and contributes his specialist knowledge in landscape architecture across a number of projects. His design approach is founded on site-specific visual research with the aim of creating places that are socially, aesthetically and ecologically productive.
His experience includes large-scale infrastructure and masterplanning, parks, public space, gardens, and residential design, including all work stages from conceptualisation through to construction on site. Recently, he led public realm designs for a commercial development in LB Islington, a pedestrianisation project in Chelsea, and a series of new public spaces forming part of the Walthamstow Cultural Quarter.
Clay holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Harvard University and a Bachelor of the Arts from the University of Virginia. He is a Chartered Landscape Architect in the UK.
