Emer joined Publica as the Studio and Communications Assistant in 2024. As Studio Assistant, Emer supports the Studio Manager on studio and project activities and is responsible for coordination, liaison and the day-to-day running of the practice to ensure that the studio offers a welcoming, sociable and stimulating working environment. 

In her role as Communications Assistant, Emer supports the internal and external communications activities, working closely with the Graphic Designer.  

Prior to Publica, Emer contributed to the delivery of exhibitions, social content and managing archival material as Museum Assistant for The Brown Collection. Emer holds a Fine Art BFA from the Ruskin School of Art at the University of Oxford. Her dissertation explored the role of the body in contemporary art, and its political potential to unsettle anthropocentric hierarchy.
