JEMIMA ASHTON-HARRIS
Urban Designer
Jemima joined Publica as an Urban Designer in 2023, where she works across public realm, landscape and urban design projects.
Jemima’s experience spans a range of scales and work stages, which has influenced her integrity-focused design practice. Since joining Publica in the summer of 2023, Jemima has worked on a range of projects, including public realm design in Walthamstow and Islington, and extensive survey projects in two key districts in East and South London.
Prior to Publica, Jemima completed her Part III qualification whilst working at District Architects. Jemima received her RIBA Part II at Central St. Martins, where her thesis project ‘Whitgift: Retail Retold’ devised an incremental redevelopment for Croydon’s town centre, which proposed sites of cultural infrastructure and sustainable alternatives to traditional consumerism. During the course, she undertook a placement, working with the master-planning team for Roskilde Festival in Denmark. Her part I was completed at the University of Nottingham.
