PUBLICA NAMED FINALIST FOR PUBLIC REALM AND PLACEMAKING ARCHITECT OF THE YEAR AWARD

Publica is one of the first ever finalists for Public Realm and Placemaking Architect of the Year Award, at the Building Design Architect of the Year Awards 2026.

The nomination recognises Publica's work across a range of projects, including the redesign of the historic Hanover Square, the creation of playful, child-friendly public realm in Walthamstow Central, and a pioneering strategy for inclusive, active streets addressing women and girls' safety in Manchester.

Publica is shortlisted alongside three other brilliant finalists: East Architecture, HTA Design and Root Erect. The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony in October.
